About Industrial Vision Tech

Industrial Vision Tech develops practical computer vision software and engineering solutions for manufacturing.

IVT works on industrial machine vision: the cameras, imaging, and software used to inspect parts and processes in manufacturing.

The work is split between two related efforts. One is a set of open-source tools aimed at the practical side of vision work, built for the engineers and technicians who set up and maintain these systems. The other is commercial engineering, where the goal is to take an inspection requirement and determine whether it can be solved, then build and deploy the system that solves it.

Both share the same starting point: industrial vision software should be practical, understandable, maintainable, and designed for real manufacturing environments rather than ideal conditions.

What we focus on

Open-source tools

Software for the everyday parts of machine vision work: connecting to cameras, capturing and replaying footage, and troubleshooting systems that are already installed. Released publicly so engineers can use and adapt it directly.

Commercial solutions

Engineering services covering feasibility studies, AI defect detection, and custom vision development, through to deployment and integration with the equipment already on the line.

Who this is for

The tools and services are aimed at the people responsible for inspection on the plant floor: manufacturing and controls engineers, machine builders and integrators, engineering managers evaluating whether a vision project is worth starting, and technical personnel who keep installed systems running.

If you are evaluating an inspection application and want an honest technical read on whether computer vision fits, that conversation is a good place to start.

Questions about an inspection application, or about the open-source tooling, are both welcome.
